NC Private Protective Services Firearms Course is a (20) hour course plus qualification. This allows Security Guards to be armed. This course is also required for Licensed Private Investigators who wish to work armed. Students must qualify 80% or better for daytime and night time courses of fire. The Unarmed Guard course is a prerequisite to attend this course.
